AK Lean Virtual Assistance, LLC has been operating for just about four years and I constantly get the same questions asked…

• What exactly do you do?

• Why don’t you charge $15 an hour like very other virtual assistant?

• So are you consultants or virtual assistants?

I was discussing this with my advisor one day, frustrated that people want us to charge $15 an hour rather than what we’re worth - we provide so much more than just administrative support! My advisor pushed back and challenged me with one question - Do they truly know what the value is?

I immediately said yes - of course they do! She came back and said ok, explain to me what you do. After my brief pitch to her she said no, that’s not what you do - you do so much more than that.

She said that our business is unique and lives within the cracks of three intersecting industries, and that makes it hard for people to understand. She said our business was gifted with a secret sauce. How do you advertise a secret sauce? You make a Venn diagram!

We pull from the process consulting industry in the sense that we are all Lean Six Sigma trained and we look for ways to make your processes more efficient and streamlined while we’re working in them. We provide process assessments to find ways to automate parts of processes and eliminate unnecessary steps.

Online Business Manager

We pull from the online business manager (OBM) world by assisting in setting up your behind-the-scenes systems and training your team on how to use those systems. We migrate data, work with you customers, and make sure you’re off on the right foot.

Virtual Assistance

We’re in the virtual assistant industry by jumping directly into your processes to help work through the backlog, create documents and forms you need to produce your services and deliverables, and make sure you’re administratively supported.
